Cardin Quality Training Associates, Inc. has been providing effective and appropriate management systems consulting and training since 1992.

By first listening and then working with the client in analyzing processes, CQTA helps businesses, government agencies, and other organizations solve problems by working with senior management and key personnel to provide a more effective system that meets the needs and expectations of their customers, both internal and external.

CQTA President Bill Cardin has more than 25 years experience in quality, engineering, and manufacturing with major corporations. As an American Society for Quality Certified Manager of Quality / Organizational Excellence, Bill offers customized training and consulting thatsupports management professionals in implementing, maintaining and continually improving appropriate processes.

Areas of expertise include "train the trainer" training, gap analysis of management systems that include ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001, AS9100, ISO 13485, and ISO 22000. Focus is on Root Cause Analysis and Process Improvement using tools such as APQP/PPAP, SPC, Lean, FMEA, VSM, 5S with the PDSA approach. CQTA also provides quality and environmental management systems auditing in preparation for second-party customer audits and/or third-party registrar's assessments.

In addition to professional credentials, Bill has served on the Gaston County Economic Development Commission. He currently serves on the Gaston College Engineering Technology and Corporate Education advisory boards. In 2008, Gaston College named Bill Cardin its Economic and Workforce Development Instructor of the Year.
